Program Highlights |
|
As with every program since 1984, the Maryland Workers' Compensation Educational Association [MWCEA] brings the Workers'
Compensation Community together to promote education, communication and collegiality. This year's conference will again provide
a forum for all of the stakeholders in the system to meet and develop ideas and strategies to improve the fashion in which the
Workers' Compensation system administers the benefits to which injured workers are entitled. As is the custom, the educational
sessions feature the most respected professionals in their areas of practice.
The MWCEA 2010 Conference program will focus on systemic improvement for all participants. The presentations will be highlighted by a panel of representatives of the Workers Compensation Commissions from neighboring jurisdictions, Moderated by Chairman R. Karl Aumann. In addition, our distinguished panelists will teach attendees about the best and worst practices in the provision of vocational rehabilitation services, securing and using surveillance and settling cases under the new regulations. Finally, participants will be educated about knee replacements and the value of chiropracitic care in the management of work-related injuries.
If you are involved in any aspect of Maryland Workers' Compensation, this is an outstanding educational opportunity. |
