Program Highlights
Since 1984, the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Educational Association (“MWCEA”) has been bringing the Maryland workers’ compensation community together for an annual conference. The annual MWCEA Conference provides all professionals involved in the field of workers’ compensation and related areas with an excellent educational program. “Image of Success” will be the 2007 conference theme. The conference speakers will review the appropriate use and application of diagnostic images and reports as well as the best practices for rehabilitation and claims adjusting procedures required for ethical claims handling in workers’ compensation. The aggregate viewpoint of the presentations will enable participants to discuss the most effective ways to resolve difficult issues in workers’ compensation claims. The annual MWCEA Conference facilitates person to person dialogue to improve communication and cooperation in the Maryland workers’ compensation community. Featured speakers for this program include the House and Senate chairs of the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Oversight Committee, members of the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Commission, nationally recognized experts in workers’ compensation services, and the most respected health care providers in their areas of practice.
